At Protek Pay, we are committed to ensuring our contractors receive timely payments through PAYE as one of our employees, (whether it’s a short or long term contract) – therefore eliminating a contractor’s responsibility of calculating tax deductions.
Protek ensures all compliance and legislation requirements are met, while minimising admin and paperwork; and providing contractors with usual employment benefits.

Once you have registered with Protek and signed our contract of employment, you will become an employee of Protek Pay Ltd. This means you will have full statutory employment rights – such as holiday pay, SSP, SMP and SPP.
You will continue to submit your timesheet to your agency as usual. Your Agency will send your timesheet to Protek when you are due to be paid.
Your pay is processed through Protek’s PAYE scheme. Tax, NI and any other deductions will be shown on your payslip. Once your NET pay has been calculated, you will receive your payslip and wages directly into your personal bank account.

Protek Pay is an Umbrella payroll service exclusively available for recruitment agencies using the back office and accounting solutions provided by TBOS.
Many of the contractors and temps working through the TBOS agencies have experienced poor service and customer care from their existing umbrella providers.
The TBOS directors decided to establish their own solution calling on their extensive experience within the Umbrella company market along with back office and accounting services provided to over 120 recruitment agency clients for the past 11 years.
The Protek Pay solution has been created to provide the agency and candidate with an efficient, joined up and compliant Umbrella service.
